People argue about pyramids, star maps, metallurgy, migration, myth. But almost nobody asks the most basic, human question of all: Where did they sleep at night? If these civilisations existed — and many clearly did — then they had shelter. They had a place to rest, to recover, to raise children, to grow old. They had a home. Because civilisation has never existed without housing. Not once. Not anywhere. Not in any era. And yet here we are, in the 21st century, pretending that housing is optional.
