BRAIN WORK OPENS THE DOOR TO ENDING HOMELESSNESS

HOUSING4ALL

A NEW CANVAS FOR NIGERIA -

HOUSING FOR ALL REGARDLESS OF STATUS,

PUTTING AN END TO HOMELESSNESS

Ensuring everyone has a home transcends politics, laws, and government systems.

Housing for all is not to much to ask for is it?

Housing4AL

Human flourishing starts with a home.

Human life is created in the image and likeness of God. Therefore, each person has dignity and a right to life including the inalienable right to housing from the moment of conception in the womb until they draw their final breath. Housing for all citizens regardless of status is sacrosanct.

Once we start to think about the kind of world we are leaving to future generations, we look at things differently; human life is under direct attack.

Together we are stronger and together we will secure home one family at a time.

Build Your Own Home (BYOH Nigeria)

BYOH na no be ordinary housing matter—na youth wey dey rise up build better tomorrow. Na Doors Academy SCIO dey ginger this movement, where young people go learn work, build house, and change story with their hand.

CALL TO ACTION

The Crisis of Homelessness in Nigeria: A Call to Action

Homelessness in Nigeria is not just an issue—it is a crisis, silently affecting millions, especially women, children, and people with disabilities. In the shadows of booming cities, too many Nigerians sleep without shelter, victims of poverty, unemployment, and a system that has yet to provide adequate social services or truly affordable housing. As informal settlements and slums grow, so does the suffering of those who have been forced to call them home.

This must not continue.

Tackling homelessness requires more than promises—it demands action. The government must intensify efforts to provide shelters and strengthen social welfare programs. But this is not just a challenge for policymakers; it is a call to every individual, organisation, and community to rise and make a difference.

NGOs and community-based initiatives must step forward with more outreach programmes, advocacy, and the unwavering commitment to change lives.

At Doors Academy Nigeria, we believe we are stronger together. We invite every Nigerian—every leader, every activist, every dreamer—to speak up, share ideas, and contribute to building safe, dignified shelters for our most vulnerable. When we come together, we can ensure that no Nigerian is left without a home, no life is left forgotten, and no hope is left behind.

Join us. Raise your voice. Be the change.

God bless Nigeria.

We are followers of Christ

Providing service and support of families is essential for a strong society and community.

Our involvement in community life is crucial, relying on each other for support and unity. Upholding human rights and fulfilling our responsibilities to each other is key to thriving communities that value every individual's dignity.

Providing housing for everyone regardless of status is imperative, along with essential social services like food, clothing, healthcare, and education.

Collaborating to protect rights and meet obligations, irrespective of differences in race, religion, or ethnicity, is necessary for pursuing the greater good.

Jehovah God is our strength and Yeshua our direction.

AMBASSADORS FOR CHANGE

Restoring the common good motivates all our Ambassadors.

There was a time back in the day where our ancestors prioritised the common good and safe and secure housing was enjoyed by all in the community.

In the main we have lost that human quality and there is societal indifference to homeless persons.

However Humans are inherently social and when it comes right down to it we need each other. We need to protect each other and ensure community cohesion.

Join us at Doors Academy, we are stronger together.
